The Head of the Emergency Management Committee to confront TIG tropical cyclone, Eng. Amin Barzeeq, conducted an inspection visit today to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) shelter and food supplies warehouses in Mukalla city, Hadramawt governorate, Yemen. The visit came in light of the warnings issued by the Early Warning Center for Disasters and Climate Hazards regarding the occurrence of TIG tropical cyclone.
The purpose of the visit was to ensure the necessary support is available to the affected population in the case of a natural disaster.
Eng. Barzeeq was briefed on the preparations and readiness of all field teams and crews for immediate relief intervention in response to any emergencies that may arise from the cyclone. Efforts were intensified to secure and prepare for the potential disaster.
The shelter and food supplies stored in the warehouses were examined to ensure their quality and suitability. Additionally, storage and security measures were reinforced to protect them from any damages caused by the cyclone and facilitate their transportation without any obstacles.
Eng. Barzeeq expressed sincere gratitude to KSrelief for their proactive preparedness. He emphasized the importance of joint cooperation between the field teams and local authorities to ensure the prompt delivery of urgent assistance and relief to the affected areas as quickly as possible.
