Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohammed Ashadadi participated today in the
deliberations of the 144th Session of General Assembly of the
International Parliamentary Union (IPU) held in the Indonesia Island of
Bali from 20 to 24 of March.
He provided an informative presentation about the situation in Yemen amid the war triggered by Houthi militia, citing the government's efforts aiming to stop the war and re-establish peace and stability in the country.
He put blame on the Houthi militias for blocking the UN-led peace efforts, rejecting all calls and proposals for peace.
The MPs Hamid al-Ahmer, Mohamed bin Malik, Saleh al-Barhami and Hamad Assalihi are engaged also in the deliberations of the IPU's 144th Session.
