Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi discussed Monday
with Sponsor of King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center
Abdullah al-Rabi'ah interventions of the center to face humanitarian
needs, priorities of development and quick water and sanitation projects
in Yemen.
Al-Sharjabi expressed government's appreciation to support provided by King Salman's center, which is considered the greatest partners of the government to face urgent and humanitarian crisis Yemen experiences over Houthi militia's triggered war.
He reviewed current water and environment's situation and quick priorities and needs to boost the ministry's capabilities to provide necessary needs to the people across Yemen.
Al-Sharjabi pointed out to his ministry's efforts to improve water and environment services in different provinces and enhancing relations with donors under increasingly needs of water services and retreat international support to water sector over corona pandemic.
For his part, al-Rabi'ah confirmed continuous support of King Salman's center to Yemen and doubling its efforts and interventions in different humanitarian, relief and development fields in partnership with partners.
