Children Parliament to participate in 3rd conference on anti-children violence

Yemen Children Parliament is to take part in the 3rd International Consultative Conference to Resist Violence against Children, which is set to be held in Cairo on June 25-27. Chairman of Democracy School Jamal al-Shami, whose school occupies the Secretariat Capital of Children Parliament, told Saba that reporters of the parliament, Amir al-Deen al-Mureisi and Fatin al-Yousufi, would head on Thursday to Cairo to represent Yemen in the conference that would also shed some light on the Arabic edition of the UN Secretary General study over resisting violence against children. He made it clear that Yemen representatives would take part in the preparatory workshop of the conference on June 22-24, in cooperation with Save the Children Sweden organization, Arab Council for Childhood and Development and Egyptian Child's Rights Association. They would also review Yemen Children Parliament expertise, in addition to showing two Yemeni films in this regard.
