The Supreme Energy Council (SEC) devoted its session today to review the
reports by authorities in charge about measures and mechanisms adopted
to ensure better using of the Saudi fuels grant aimed to operate
electricity power stations in the government-hold governorates.
The Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik led the SEC's discussions which held via video conference.
The Minister of Electricity and Energy Eng. Anwar Kalshat reported about how the first and second shipments of the Saudi oil donation were distributed.
The Minister of Oil and Minerals Abdussalam Ba-Abood provided brief report about the efforts made by Aden Oil Refinery to receive the oil grant.
One more report presented by the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Mute'a Damaj, the Chair of the Steering Committee tasked with Overseeing an Following-up the Saudi oil grant. He reported about the measures taken and what have been done by the committee .
