Yemen’s Prime Minister has stressed the imperative of urgent
humanitarian interventions in the province of Marib, afflicted by a
fierce Houthi war.
Maeen Abdulmalik said in a meeting with the WFP Yemen Director Laurent Bukera here on Sunday, that the internally displaced persons who constitute most of the province’s population are facing “hard humanitarian conditions as a result of the Houthi militia’s criminal aggression” including direct bombardments of the IDPs camps.
Abdulmalik called on the “the UN and other international organizations to take a firm action apart from the ambiguity of unassigned blames.”
He said, “By attacking civilians and IDPs, the Houthi militia proves that it is a criminal militia that does not believe in peace and never values the blood or life of the Yemeni people while seeking to appease Iran.”
