President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi told the UN Special Envoy to Yemen he
is in favour of a settlement leads to lasting peace with the Houthi
rebels, not to holding over conflict and further crises to the future.
In a meeting with Martin Griffiths here today, Hadi said the peace should therefore rest on the relevant three terms of reference for peace.
Hadi appreciated Griffiths' efforts to broker peace despite the theocratic militia's constantly stubborn aversion to peace and commitments.
The UN envoy on his part hailed Hadi's permanent efforts for peace and wise handling of issues at hand.
