Yemen's Cabinet directed state institutions to press on servicing the
public, albeit in exceptional circumstances resulting from the takeover
of the temporary capital Aden on August 11 southern armed separatists.
In a meeting convened to reflect on the available options to respond to the UAE-backed rebellion, the Cabinet warned of any interferences or influences on the institutions still operating there.
The Defense Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister briefed the meeting on the Saudi mediation efforts to restore the situations back to normal appreciating role of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Cabinet also appreciated the UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths' briefing to the UN Security Council that rejected the separatists' takeover.
