President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Tuesday German Deputy
Foreign Minister Andreas Mishayelis and the Foreign Ministry Envoy for
the Middle East and Morocco Christian Puk and discussed with them latest
developments in Yemen.
President Hadi praised mutual relations between the two countries and German role in supporting Yemen and its national consensus represented in the National Dialogue Conference (NDC), which included all Yemeni issues and all Yemeni social and political components.
He also praised the role of Germany in making this dialogue successful and by hosting a number of committees for understanding Germany's federal experiment, pointing to Houthi plots for failing the dialogue and its outcomes, which included the project of the new federal Yemen and their coup against the state and agreement on the NDC's outcomes.
President Hadi confirmed government's permanent position for realizing peace based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
He pointed out that Stockholm agreement is an experiment to Houthi wills for implementing it in Hodeida, releasing prisoners and kidnapped people.
He confirmed significance of the international pressure on Houthi militia and take clear positions for disclosing bad wills of Houthi.
For his part, the German official praised strong relations between the two friendly countries and different fields of cooperation, expressing German government's appreciation to efforts of President Hadi and support for realizing peace in different stages, including Stockholm agreement.
He pointed to challenges facing implementation of peace, confirming his country's support to peace effort.
