The Tawasul Foundation for Human Development has implemented a foodstuff
and shelter aid distribution project for 50 families in Socotra
archipelago, funded by Kuwaiti aid organizations.
The director general of Tawasul's office in Hadramout Salem Bashamekhah said that the project is part of a larger campaign targeting the Socotra Archipelago, including foodstuffs, medical provisions, and shelter materials financed by Kuwait's Mercy International and the Kuwaiti Association for Relief.
The campaign comes as part of the response to the impact of the cyclone Mekunu that hit the archipelago recently.
