UN Security Council asserts to implement Partnership Agreement terms

The UN Security Council asserted on Wednesday the importance of implementing all terms of Peace and Partnership Agreement and its security annex, the National Dialogue Conference (NDC)'s outcomes and the Gulf initiative.
In its statement at the conclusion of a session held to discuss the situation in Yemen, the Security Council's members expressed their concern about the political and security crisis in Yemen and called all parties to implement a permanent cease-fire.
The statement appealed all the political sides in Yemen to stand beside President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi, the Premier Khaled Bahah and the Cabinet in order to ensure the stability and security of the country and addressing all differences through dialogue and consultation.
The Security Council would continue supporting the efforts of the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Yemen, Jamal Benomar, calling all parties to resolve differences via the Presidential Commission and under the support of the Secretary-General's adviser and envoy to Yemen.
The council's members showed aspiration to start a phase of public consultation on the new constitution draft and called all Yemeni parties to finalize the constitution that meets the ambitions of the Yemeni people.
