PM: Gov't will not tolerate those involved in corruption

The government would never tolerate with anybody who found guilty of corruption whatever his post, Prime Minister Khaled Bahah has said. In his speech at the inauguration ceremony of the accountability project in Yemen, Bahah affirmed that the government would take serious, transparent and responsible positions in confronting all cases and suspicions of corruption.
The prime minister pointed to the importance of the project, which will be implemented over three years by the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission (SNACC) in collaboration with the National Integrity System and funded by the World Bank.
"The project embodies the strong partnership between Yemen and the World Bank", Bahah said, expressing his thanks to the World Bank for its big contributions to support Yemen and its economy and political march.
He confirmed that among the government's priorities is establishing the principles of good governance and the accountability is one of its pillars for the good governance.
The principle of accountability can not be achieved If it was not based on information available to the public and researchers and interested people, the premier added.
