PM receives letter from Indian counterpart

Prime Minister Khaled Bahah received on Tuesday a written letter from his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on bilateral relations between the two countries and prospects of enhancing them. The Indian Prime Minister confirmed in his letter India's support for all steps aiming to achieve stability and the success of the transitional stage in Yemen.
During his meeting with the Indian ambassador to Yemen Amrit Lugun, who handed him the letter, Bahah expressed his appreciation for India's positions in support of Yemen, praising the distinct relations between Yemen and India.
Bahah pointed to the importance of establishing an effective partnership between the private sector in both countries in order to promote economic, trade and investment relations to serve the mutual interests.
He affirmed that Yemen wants to benefit from the Indian expertise, especially in the medical, educational and scientific and technical fields.
The meeting touched on the existing cooperation between Yemen and India, focusing on the promising opportunities to boost the cooperation relations, particular in the economic, trade, health and transport areas.
