PM receives French ambassador

Prime Minister Khaled Bahah received on Saturday the French ambassador to Sana’a Jean Marc Grosjean discussing with him mutual relations between the two countries. The meeting focused on the economic and investment spheres and the mutual keenness to promote and improve them in a way serving interests of both countries.
They dealt with the French support for the current and future period in the developmental and political areas, and France active support for the Yemeni people and government to overcome the present situations through the full implementation of the Peace and National Partnership Agreement which is based on the outcomes of the comprehensive National Dialogue Conference.
Prime Minister commended the French role in supporting Yemen, side by side to the international community, to overwhelm the current complexities to reach the safe side.
He also noted the economic and investment role of the French companies working in Yemen, specially in the field of oil and gas exploration and production.
Prime Minister, Bahah, referred to the government keenness to provide suitable atmospheres for these companies to expand their activities, affirming mutual concern to improve the level of the mutual ties between Yemen and France.
For his part, the French ambassador re-affirmed his country’s ongoing support for Yemen and its supportive approach for the Yemeni government to finalize tasks of the transitional period, in addition to accomplishing the Peace and National Partnership Agreement and outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference.
