The Cabinet held on Tuesday an extraordinary meeting chaired by Prime Minister Khaled Bahah for consultation. This came after the Parliament adjourned its meeting, which was devoted for discussion the government's general program, to Wednesday to give an opportunity to the committee on drafting recommendations to discuss and absorb the lawmakers' observations about the government program.
The government confirmed that it would take the parliament members' observations in consideration.
In its meeting, the cabinet listened to a report presented by Interior Minister Jalal al-Rowishan on the security situation in Aden provinces, especially with regard to the killing of Khaled al-Junaidi on Monday and what happened in a number of Yemeni areas.
AL-Junaidi is a prominent figure in the Southern Movement. He was released from prison earlier this month after serving five months for separatist activities.
