Yemen takes priority in the framework of the prepared supporting plan by the World Bank (WB), the WB's official said Wednesday.
This came during a meeting co-chaired by Minister of Public Health and Population Riyadh Abdullah and the WB's Health and Nutrition Director, who discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the ministry and the bank in health area.
The meeting also reviewed sides of various support provided by the bank for health sector in Yemen in addition to its support for projects to be carried out in the future and completing those which are still under implementation.
The WB's director expressed the bank's commitments to continue supporting the health sector in Yemen, hailing the mutual cooperation level of the WB and the ministry.
