Government to enable women, youth in decision making

The government has pledged to raise woman and youth's participation in decision making and engaging them in leading posts in the state's institutions by 30 percent to women and 20 percent to youth. In its program presented to the parliament to gain confidence, the government included a number of plans aiming at enabling youth and women. The plans deal with solutions to unemployment via creating work opportunities; establishing labor-intensive projects with giving focus on small and smaller projects, especially in rural and remote areas.
The plans include taking care of teenagers and youth and working on making sport and scout camps across the country to create honest competition and discover talents that will help improve society.
The government showed in the program keenness on expansion in establishing banks to provide services of granting youth loans without profits to establish their own projects.
The government's plans adopted policies and activities of political transfer after referendum on the new constriction. Following up of legislations organizing the general elections (presidential and parliamentarian) and preparations for holding the elections and projects the federal state will need and implementing them are given significance in the program.
The program tackles other policies and activities during post-referendum transfer like enhancing foreign relations and human rights, as well as taking care of expatriates and adopting clear information policy works on deep rooting the national unity and preserving Yemen's identity.
