President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Monday head of the Middle and Near East and North Africa Department at the German Foreign Ministry Miguel Berger. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations, the latest developments in the local area and procedures taken to overcome all challenges hindering completing the implementation of the transitional phase requirements.
Hadi praised all Germany's support to Yemen at various circumstances along with its support to the progress of the political transition in the country.
"Germany is one of the key supporters for the national dialogue and the Gulf initiative, besides its effective assistance to achieve the transitional phase successfully in Yemen,'' Hadi said.
He also appreciated the host of Germany to the members of the Constitution Drafting Committee and many other committees to benefit from the German relevant experience in various fields, including the procedures to establish a federal state.
The President expressed hope that Germany would continue its support to Yemen during the coming stages, particularly in processes of electoral register, referendum on the constitution, and the parliamentary and presidential elections.
For his part, Berger reaffirmed his country's continued support to Yemen in different fields whether bilaterally or through the ten-country group sponsoring the Gulf initiative, praising the efforts of President Hadi to implement the transition requirements.
