Yemen, Turkey discuss cooperation in higher education

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Mohamed Mutahar discussed on Tuesday with Turkey's ambassador to Yemen Fazli Çorman the cooperation between Yemen and Turkey in higher education field.
Expanding the scholarship programs provided by the Yemeni and Turkish sides were reviewed in the meeting, as well as the Turkish side's readiness to partake in establishing the exams and evaluation center to help the Yemeni universities in determining the capacities of students wishing to join university.
The two sides touched on the project of establishing the Yemeni-Turkish university and promoting the Turkish language departments in some Yemeni universities.
At the meeting, Mutahar praised the Turkish government's efforts and interest and its cooperation with Yemen, especially in the field of higher education and scientific research, confirming Yemen's keenness to strengthen these relations, especially the scientific field.
