The Group of Ten Ambassadors on Saturday called on all Yemeni parties to work together to implement the Peace and National Partnership Agreement (PNPA) and agree on a new cabinet.
In a press statement issued by the group, the ambassadors pointed out that Yemen is in need of an effective government to be able to provide security, a stable economic management and a sound national administration for citizens.
"We stress the importance of having a qualified government able to show integrity, competence, impartiality and commitment to the promotion of human rights and the rule of law", the ambassador said.
The ambassadors underlined that the Yemeni government is the only power responsible for its national security, calling on Ansarullah to stop their continuous campaign to seize government and military institutions and to bring back the military equipment they seized.
In their statement, the ambassadors expressed their appreciation for the step taken by Ansarullah to transfer their own camps from Sana'a and the surrounding area, considering that a step in the right direction in the implementation of their obligations, and urged them to continue in this positive activity in the future.
The ambassadors also renewed their condemnation of al-Qaeda terrorist activities, expressing concern that the fighting between Ansarullah and al-Qaeda leads to dragging Yemen into larger conflict.
