French Foreign Minister Bernar Kushner is to arrive in Sana'a next Saturday on an official few-day visit to Yemen to hold talks with Yemeni officials.Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi clarified to the state-run 26September weekly that the Yemeni-French talks will deal with means of strengthening cooperation ties between the two countries in the political, economic and cultural fields.The Minister added that he will discuss with the French Foreign Minister the latest development in the region particularly in Palestine and the role of France and European Union to realize the peace in the Middle East.He pointed out the Yemeni-French talks will also deal with the latest developments in the Horn of Africa and the international and regional efforts to combat the piracy off the Somali coasts and the Gulf of Aden and support the capacities of the Yemeni authorities to combat this dangerous phenomenon.It is scheduled a news conference to be next Saturday at the headquarters of Foreign Ministry in Sana'a to present the results of the talks of the two Ministers.
