Yemeni Coastguard receives 10 Somali pirates seized by Russian ship

Yemeni Coastguard received on Wednesday a group of Somali pirates
seized lately by one of the foreign ships in the international water
near coast of Socotra archipelago.

Rase said to Saba, that the coastguard forces of Gulf of Aden sector
received on Wednesday afternoon in the Gulf of Aden 10 Somali pirates
seized by one of Russian ships three days ago.
Rase pointed
out that the handing over of the Somali pirates comes in the framework
of the existing cooperation and coordination between Yemen and the
countries that have marine ships existing in the Gulf of Aden,
international waters, in the sake of combating organized crimes and sea
piracy.
Security forces has started investigations with seized Somali pirates in preparation to transfer them to general prosecution.
