The Education Minister Dr. Abdul-Razaq al-Ashwal discussed on Thursday with the UN World Food Programme (WFP) representative in Sana'a Bishaw Parajuli the cooperation between Yemen and WFP in education sector. The two sides touched on the programs and activities, through which the WFP contributes the support of the educational process in Yemen. At the meeting, al-Ashwal commended the WFP's contributions to supporting education in Yemen, underlining the importance of the sustainability of the projects provided by the programme and raising their allocations. For his part, the WFP's representative affirmed his keenness to increase the support for the education sector as a basic foundation for the sustainable development.
