President Hadi addresses the nation on Eid al-Fitr

President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi delivered on Sunday a speech to the nation on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, where he congratulated the Yemeni people and Arab and Islamic nations on the same occasion.
The President called in his speech for staying away from media and political provocation which was exercised by some political powers in the country through fueling political and sectarian perspectives that coincided with the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) and the basis of the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism of the Executive.
"Those exercises are also coincided with professional ethics which resulted in damaging the reputation of Yemen abroad and effected badly on the investment environment,'' the President said.
He added not only that but also it created a political environment which fueled the conflict and fight of the past.
Hadi called on all political and societal powers, scholars, civil society organizations, women and youth to maintain the Yemeni unique experiment which gathered all parties under one ceil to tackle all complicated and accumulated problems based on the manner of consensus and national dialogue.
"Any political goal cannot be achieved through resorting to using weapon and violence far away from the national consensus which represented by the NDC outcomes, as well as those actions are condemned at national, regional and international levels,'' the President stated in his speech.
"We have affirmed previously that any individual, group, party or tribe cannot impose any thing on the country and who thinks that he will win he will find himself in the face of the state and the people,'' he added.
Regarding the keenness of the state to gain prestige on all the country's provinces, Hadi said we affirmed the state's keenness on security, stability and peace on all the country's provinces.
"No way from imposing the authority and sovereignty of the state on all over the country, for that reason we paid a visit to Amran a few days ago in the framework of our keenness to end conflict there and realizing the security, stability and social peace all over the province and withdrawing all armed groups from the province,'' Hadi mentioned.
He added we can regard the conflict in Amran province as the last wars and an entrance to implement the NDC outcomes which confirmed on disarming heavy and medium weapons and handing back to the state from all parties.
Hadi called all Yemeni people for a national reconciliation and more cohesion and unity based on the following basis;
1- the republican system, the unity of Yemen, the democratic approach and the outcomes of National Dialogue Conference (NDC) are principles and approach of Yemeni people and they are the basis for the national reconciliation.
2-NDC outcomes, which formed to establish a federal modern civil state based on the good governance, equal citizenship and genuine partnership are the basis for the national reconciliation.
3- All political and societal powers should put Charter of Honor that includes renouncing war and handing back all heavy and medium weapons to the state, and stopping the campaigns of mobilization and incitement and hate, treason, blasphemy speech, and religious, ethnic and regional discrimination.
4- All political and societal forces should unify their efforts to combat terrorism and dry its resources and its supporters because it is considering the great danger that threatens the homeland.
5- The real partnership for all political powers in managing the state on the basis of the principles that have been agreed upon in the national dialogue and commit to peaceful political action.
6-Contiued working with all political and societal powers which didn't participate in the NDC in particular in the south, for more cohesion and national participation in handling the southern issue.
7- Finding more effective means to communicate with vital forces of civil society organizations, women and youth, which participated effectively in the NDC and played an important role in the overall success.
8- Community and political support to the process of financial and economic reform very and committing to our policy in economic austerity efforts which aims to reduce public expenditure and the rational use of energy.
9- The full national and political support to complete the restructure of security and armed forces.
10- Mobilizing energies and possibilities to raise awareness of NDC outcomes and to be ready to make the referendum on the constitution a success.
He concluded his speech by thanking all sponsors of the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism as well as the king of Saudi Arabia and all brotherly and friendly countries which stood by Yemen in this difficult circumstances.
