Yemen, ICRC review humanitarian cooperation

Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa met here on Tuesday with head of mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to Yemen Cedric Schweizer. During the meeting, the Premier and the ICRC chief discussed relations of cooperation in the humanitarian field, particularly the joint work to improve conditions of prisons and promote the prisoners' human rights.
The Prime Minister stressed the government's keenness on enhancing the joint cooperation with the ICRC mission.
For his part, ICRC mission's head talked about the existing cooperation with various government bodies in the humanitarian field, stressing the Committee's adherence to develop cooperation with the government in all humanitarian areas.
