Media correspondents training workshop begins in Hodeidah

The eighth workshop of media correspondents training program began on Sunday in Hodeidah governorate About
26 trainees from all the governorate districts will take part in the
four-day workshop, which is organized by the Civic Democratic
Initiatives Support Foundation (CDF) and the British embassy.
The workshop aims to make correspondents for media outlet in the districts and train them on the journalistic coverage skills.
The
workshop coordinator Majed Saeed told Saba that the participants would
receive lectures about the journalistic correspondent's role in the
society through dealing with the essential elements of news writing and
news sources.
The participants will get acquainted with how to
develop the news idea and information order in the inverted pyramid as
well as the interview bases, journalism ethics and professional
standards of journalistic correspondence, Saeed added.
