Yemen's Health Ministry and Population is to carry out next Saturday a
five-day vaccination campaign to eliminate neonatal tetanus and
eradicate measles in 17 provinces of Yemen.
The tetanus
immunisation campaign is to target more than two million women aged
between 15 and 45 years while more than 667000 children aged between 1
and 5 years will receive anti-measles vaccinations.
Speaking
to Saba, Public Health and Population Minister Abdul Karim Rassa said
on Friday that the number of health workers and supervisors involved in
the campaign would reach more than 15000 people as well as 250 cars.
