5th meeting of Yemeni-Ethiopian committee concluded in Sana'a

emeni-Ethiopian joint ministerial committee has concluded its 5th meeting in Sana'a, which was held during (May 11-15), and co-chaired by Foreign Ministers of the two countries. The two sides discussed the existing relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries and prospects of developing them in various fields, as well as reports on the achievements related to the previous bilateral agreements.
They reviewed the developments at the regional and international arenas and exchanged views on issues of common interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides issued a joint statement, in which they expressed their mutual keenness to strengthen and develop bilateral relations and regional cooperation in all fields, including trade and investment areas.
The statement revealed an agreements between the countries to activate the role of the Sana'a Forum for Cooperation in a more vital manner than the past few years.
The two sides condemned all kinds of violence and extremism acts and international terrorism, affirming the importance of strengthening the two countries' abilities in this field ,as well as the bilateral cooperation in combating terrorism.
It is worthy to mention that Yemen and Ethiopia signed, during the recent meeting of the joint committee, a number of agreements and protocols of bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, higher education and standards and specifications.
