Yemeni-Ethiopian joint committee to meet in Sana’a soon

The meetings of the Yemeni-Ethiopian joint ministerial committee are to begin Wednesday, and will be co-chaired by Foreign Ministers of the two countries.
The committee will discuss over two days the prospects of developing and expanding the areas of bilateral cooperation.
At the conclusion of its meetings, the joint committee will sign a number of agreements and protocols regarding the bilateral cooperation between Yemen and Ethiopia in the fields of trade, investment, specification and standards, higher education and others fields.
The preparatory committee for the joint ministerial committee would start its meetings on Sunday to review and discuss the draft agreements and protocols of cooperation to be signed during the joint committees’ meetings, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and head of the Yemeni side in the preparatory committee, Omar Abdulaziz Abdulghani made it clear to Saba.
Abdulghani considered the convening of the meetings of the Yemeni-Ethiopian joint committee an operational translation for the trends of the two countries’ governments towards boosting the areas of bilateral cooperation between them.
