Military source denies reports on dialogue or truce with terrorists

An official military source on Tuesday denied reports of satellite TV channels, newspapers and electronic outlets about possible truce or dialogue by any official state or military body with al-Qaeda terrorists or leaders. The source said such reports are mere rumors and fabrications and are baseless.
He wondered for some media resorting to promote such rumors and lies at a time when the armed forces and security forces are achieving a great successes in crushing the strongholds of terrorism and going on confidently to achieve victory and eliminate the remaining remnants of the terrorist elements.
"There is no option for the heroes of the army and security forces, backed by the masses of the people, but to proceed with the elimination of the terrorism and extremism wherever they are, and to get rid of the devils of terrorism, which have been hurting the people and the nation," the source said.
He noted that "the nation and people can no longer tolerate the existence of terrorism and its heinous crimes of in the country of faith and wisdom."
"Uprooting terrorism has become a pressing popular demand, and the duty of the armed and security forces is to respond to the Yemeni people," the source said.
The source urged all media to ascertain the accuracy and objectivity of the news they disseminate.
He pointed out that "the armed and security forces are determined to continue their strikes against the terror dens and hunt after each of the remaining terrorist elements to eliminate them completely, to put an end to the atrocious crimes they commit against the people and the nation."
