Yemen, Djibouti discuss military cooperation

Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser Ahmed discussed on Tuesday with Djibouti's ambassador Yusuf Omar the military and security cooperation between the two countries .
They reviewed the efforts of the two countries in the fight against smuggling and enhancing measures to confront this phenomenon, which harmed the interests of the two countries.
In the meeting, the Defense Minister referred to the importance of the cooperation, coordination and exchange of information between the two countries and finding joint solutions in this direction.
For his part, the Djiboutian ambassador assured that his country would remain an active partner of Yemen in the fight against smuggling and other illegal acts that harm the interests of the two countries.
