Chairman of General Organization for Antiquities and Museums (GOAM)
Abdullah BaWazir said on Saturday that the two Yemeni antiquities would
be shipped to Paris for restoring in Louvre museum. The move is in accordance with the agreement signed between the GOAM and the French museum last October. The two objectives are two bronze statues of lions, BaWazir said. He added that it is scheduled that Yemen would get back the two statues by end of this year after showing them in the museum. The two statues would be transported by the Yemenia airway to Paris. AH
