HR Minister meets delegations of HR Watch, Reprieve, ILO

Human Rights Minister Hourria Mashhour held Monday several separate meetings with delegations of Yemeni expatriates, world and British organizations.
The Minister discussed with Mr. Joe Stork, the deputy director of Human Rights Watch's Middle East and North Africa division a number of issues concerning the human rights protection in Yemen.
Mashhour valued highly the Human Rights Watch's efforts and interest in Yemen, affirming the ministry's readiness to cooperate with the organization to promote human right situation in Yemen.
Moreover, the minister met with a delegation of UK Reprieve organization headed by legal director Kat Craig.
The meeting touched upon several issues of common concerns and the cooperation relations between the Human Rights Ministry and Reprieve.
On the other hand, Mashhour held talks with a delegation of the Electronic Coordination of the Yemeni expatriates over the situation of Yemeni expatriates in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other GCC's states.
She expressed willingness to cooperate with the Electronic Coordination to improve the conditions of the Yemeni expatriates in the GCC's countries in order to achieve a better condition for Yemeni expatriates.
Finally, the Minister met with International Labour Organization (ILO) National Coordinator in Yemen Ali Dehaq.
They discussed the possible means to enhance the mutual cooperation relations between the Ministry and the ILO.
