http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen to partake in Islamic Conference of Higher Education [The Source: Mukalla/Hadramoutinfo/Saba.net - 20/11/2012] Yemen is to participate in the sixth meeting of the Islamic Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to start Tuesday in the Sudanese capital Khartoum. Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research and head of Yemen delegation Hisham Sharaf told Saba that he will present a paper in the conference on the role of the ministry and the Yemeni universities in enhancing the sciences and technology, especially in developing the academic programs in the government universities and ensuring the quality in the Higher Education. Sharaf pointed out that the conference will dealt with projects of the Islamic world countries related to supporting the sciences and technology and the role of women in the scientific and technical progress, as well as indicators of performance in the development of Islamic universities and standards of quality at the Islamic world universities.
