http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Water Minister emphasizes private sector participation in caring for environment [The Source: Mukalla/Hadramoutinfo/Saba.net - 8/11/2012] Minister of Water and Environment Abdu Saleh Razzaz emphasized on Thursday the importance of private sector participation in caring for the environment and supporting activities for its protection. Razzaz indicated, during his meeting with Director of External Relations at MTN Company Mohammed al-Himyari, to the need to strengthening partnership with the private sector in the environmental work, praising the cooperation of MTN in this field. For his part, al-Himyari pointed out that the company within its interest in the environmental affairs will implemented a number of activities in this aspect. Among these activities is the company’s contribution to supporting the second campaign to get rid of plastic bags across Sana'a - Taiz road ,which will be held in the coming days, as well as assessing its uses of carbon over the next year 2013 in order to reduce the use of this material.
