The state-run almotamar.net quoted a well-informed parliamentary source as saying that the German parliamentary official would hold talks with Parliament speaker Ali al-Raae on aspects of the joint cooperation between the two parliaments of the two countries and means of strengthening their ties and interests. The German official will also meet Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi to discuss the latest developments and situations in the region and cooperation relations between Yemen and Germany, including Germany's support for efforts of combating terrorism and piracy off the coast of Yemen.
