http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Transport ministry intends to expand Aden port's quay [The Source: Mukalla/Hadramoutinfo/Saba.net - 4/11/2012] Transport ministry intends to expand the quay and deepen the navigation channel of port of Aden, Transport Minister Waed Bathaib said Sunday. He said that the ministry will also expand and rehabilitate a number of Yemeni ports in Hodaida, Mukalla, Mocha and the Socotra archipelago. The minister made the statements during his meeting with French ambassador to Yemen Frank Julie. Bathaib accented that the ministry welcomes the foreign, especially the French, investments in field of Yemeni air transport, saying that the ministry would provide exemptions for airlines from fuel supply. Julie stressed France's adherence to enhance its relations with Yemen, particularly in investment area, saying that Yemen has got a strategic location, diverse types of weather and distinctive investment constituents that should be exploited.
