Japan allocates aid to countries of the Arab Spring

The Japanese government announced on Friday allocated $ 12 million to support the democratic movement in the Middle East and North African countries.
The news agency quoted / Kyodo / Japanese Finance Minister Curriki Jojima as saying on the sidelines of the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that his country will be allocated over three years of $ 12 million to support the political transition in countries / Arab Spring / such as Egypt, Tunisia and Libya ,where the announcement was made after research and finance ministers of the Group of Eight to establish a fund to help the political transition in the countries of the Arab Spring.
Jojima pointed out that some of the group of eight countries and the countries of the Middle East during the meetings pledged financial assistance worth 164 million dollars for the countries of the Arab Spring.
The Japanese minister pointed out that the U.S., who heads the group this year will contribute $ 50 million to create the fund, stressing that this fund will help to ensure the continuation of the Arab Spring.
