In its weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa, the government directed Ministers of Interior, Justice and Human Rights to pay field visits to all prisons and detention centers and oversee the immediate release of all detainees of conscience. The cabinet was briefed on a report of Human Rights Minister concerning the implementation of the Human Rights Council (HRC)'s recommendations issued in its 10th session in Geneva on March 21.
