http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemeni weight lifting chamiopship kicks off [The Source: www.hadhramaut.info - 30/12/2008] Yemeni weight lifting competition kicks off today in Aden.This competition which is organized by Yemeni weight lifting union will last until Dec 31st with the participation of 70 players represent 9 clubs from eight provinces. These teams are Hilal Fuah and Shabab Al-Qatin from Hadhramaut,Al-Amanah, Lahij, Abyan,Hajah, Hudaidah, Taiz and Baidha in addition to Aden, the hosting city. First-day competitions will start this afternoon by weighing players beginning with light weight for men ,women,boys and girls. Dr Abduallah Al-Jarmal , chairman of Yemeni Weight Lifting Union said " this championship is the seal competition for 2008 season which witnessed a variety of activities conducted by the Union in the framework of his schemes and programs aiming at developing this game and widen its participation base in all Yemeni Provinces''.
