http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Arab Family Day ceremony successful, says Arab official [The Source: www.sabanews.net - 27/12/2008] The Secretary-General of the Arab Family Organization Huda bin Yousef said the ceremony on the Arab Family Day held recently in Sana'a was successful and fruitful. Upon her departure from Sana'a on Friday, Huda said to Saba that 150 participants from different Arab countries had discussed during a conference held in the sidelines of the ceremony, the issue of early marriage. "The participants adopted several recommendations notably the emphasis on the illegalization of early marriage, the importance of medical examination before marriage", she confirmed. The ceremony on the Arab Family Day organized in Sana'a by the Ministry of the Social Affairs and Labor and Higher Council for Motherhood and Childhood was held last week.
