http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Training course in sign language concludes its activities in Seiyoun [The Source: SEIYOUN/hadhramaut.info - 19/04/2012] Training session in sign language   for teachers of  students with specially needs   was Concluded today in Seiyon  city. The closing ceremony was attended by Hadhramaut Deputy Governor for Wadi and Sahraa Affairs Omaier Mbarak Omaier. In his speech the deputy Governor  confirmed that  that the local authority will spare no effort in providing  various necessary aspects of support  for the implementation of many activities that will  help to integrate this  section of the community. He said that those section will  included the deaf and dumb in the community they will be provided with high efficiency to be able to live in dignity among the society.  The   training course was  organized by the Centre and the Vocational Rehabilitation and Welfare Society in coordination with the Deaf and Dumb  rehabilitation  Association -Wadi Hadhramout and with funds  from the Social  Fund for  Development  Branch Mukalla.The training course was attended by 25 teachers coming different districts schools, 22 May school  from Seiyoun,  Al-hudaa of Al-qatn Also instructors from  Seiyoun Education Department. The participants  received communication skills in sign language for the deaf and dumb  whereby they identified  3 thousand sign language  term from the  Yemen  reference dictionary, . This project is part of  implementing  map  and plans of integrating  deaf and dumb schools in basic education being  funded by the social Fund for Development Branch Mukalla.
