http://www.english.hadhramaut.info EU expresses support for democratic process in Yemen [The Source: www.sabanews.net - 18/12/2008] The European Union confirmed its supports for the democratic process in Yemen, voicing readiness to send a new electoral observation mission to Yemen for the parliamentary elections in 2009. In its press release, the European Union expressed its concern at certain recent developments because of deterioration in the political dialogue between the various stakeholders in Yemen. The European Union called on all sides to seek a consensus on the basis of the agreements reached between the various political parties along the lines of the recommendations put forward by the 2006 electoral observation mission.
