http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Al-habib Umar bin Hood Al-Saqqaf dies at the age of 94 [The Source: SEIYOUN/hadhramaut.info - 04/03/2012] Al-habib  Umar bin Hood Al-Saqqaf died on Sunday morning the 4th March, 2012 at Ten A.M in Seiyoun at the age of after  sudden illness  that has befallen him. . He was a well known social and general figure in the city. Al-habib Omar Ibn Hood was born  1918 in Seiyoun city.  He spent most of his life to serve his  people and was one of the Social figures  of the city where he was a teacher in department of Education (the state Qu'aiti) in the sixties and then migrated  to Mombasa in  Kenya where he   worked there in the field of trade He returned to the homeland in 1994,. The late was founder of AL-HOTA zone within Seiyoun city  for Local and popular games.  This late funeral will take place on Sunday at eight P.M  after performing  slaatul-janaza in Masjid Taha  Bin Omar Al-ssafi -Seiyon city and his body will be laid in the city cemetery. In this great loss we sent our  condolences  to his son,  agricultural engineer / Mohamed Omar Bin HoodAl- Saqqaf, his brother  Mr. Salem Abdullah bin Hood Saqqaf (Abu-Yaqoub),  Mr. OmarAbdul-qader Al-Saqqaf,  the children of the late Mr. Abdallah  Bin Hood Al-Saqqaf and to  all the family of  (Ben Hood) in the death of their father. Asking God Almighty to bestow His mercy and rest his soul  in eternal peace and grant his family and his family patience and solace.   We are from Allah  and to Him we return.
