http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen partakes in Arab Writers Union's meeting in Jordan [The Source: www.sabanews.net - 15/12/2008] The Yemeni Literature and Writers Union is to participate in the meeting of the Arab Writers Union's Permanent Office to be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, from 15 – 18 December. The Yemeni delegation will be headed by Deputy Secretary-General of Yemeni literature and Writers Union Ahmed Naji Ahmed. Upon his departure, Ahmed said that the meeting will approve amendments of the basic system draft of Arab Writers Union. A seminar on the Arab theater's reality and future will be held on the sidelines of meeting, Ahmed added.
