http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Training course starts on playing stringed instruments [The Source: SEIYOUN/hadhramaut.info - 11/01/2012] Training course started today in the city of Seiyoun on  methods  of playing stringed instruments . It was organized by the  Ministry of Culture, Wadi Hadhramaut and Sahraa  office. The training will continue  for 30 days and is being attended by 12 participants  coming from Wadi Districts. During the course the  trainees  will receive knowledge and skills on the basics of notation, training on stringed musical instruments as well as applying the knowledge  in the process of playing these instruments  in the scientific  ways and methodology. The opening   function was attended by Director - Office of Arts Culture in Wadi Hadhramaut,   Mohammed Qahtan and a number  departments heads and managers  involved in the office.
