http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Governor Al-deini visits Sheikh Abdel Rahman Bekeir [The Source: MUKALLA/hadhramaut.info - 19/08/2011] Governor of Hadhramout Khalid Saeed Al-deini today paid a courtesy  visit to the Scholar and judge Sheikh Abdul Rahman Abdallah  Bekeir in his home city of Mukalla. During his  visit the governor Al-deini conveyed Ramadhan Mubarak  greetings and blessings to Sheikh Bekeir and wished him  a blesssed  ending of the holy month of Ramadhan.  He also expressed the  interest of local authority to stand side by side  with such scholars, legal personality,   sheikhs, dignitaries and notables, intellectuals and educators or his part, Sheikh Abdulrahman mark Judge Baker expressed his thanks and appreciation for this kind visit to the brother the governor wished him every success in his grave in the management of the affairs of the province. It is worthy to mention that  Shaykh bekeir  was born in 1922 in Gheil district at Al-sudaa'a  village,  He is counted as one  of the famous  preachers, sheikh and judges in the Hadramaut province.  The sheikh received his early education from the hands of his father, who was the Chief Justice of Sharia in Hadhramaut, other scholars from the coastal areas of Hadhramaut and in a number of workshops, schools and ISlamic Arbitah (centers). He recived a Degree in Law with honors from Department Law  University of Khartoum in Sudan in 1953, worked as a teacher and Headed several elementary and Middle
 schools in  Hadhamaut. The sheikh held an administrative assistant of Law in the Higher Council till the year 1967 and after the unification of Yemen in 1990  was appointed President of the Court of Appeal "retired" and then a member of the legal advisory body in Yemen. Sheikh Bekeir has many publications and books on the Islamic Sharia Islamic law and the religious judiciary.
