http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Al-deini reviews engineering designs for Abdallah Gharib [The Source: MUKALLA/hadhramaut.info - 15/08/2011] Governor of Hadramout Khalid Saeed Al-deini  yesterday  r chaired a meeting to review the engineering designs and proposals to re-implement  Al-uyun - Abdallah Gharib Highway . Th road was affected by rains and floods that was  witnessed by the province in October 2008. He urged the  Supervisory unit within the Office of the Ministry of Works and  roads as well as the reconstruction fund  branch to counter checks the engineering designs prepared by the Indian company and review it well in the  aspects of spatial, technical and  route  modification so that it can be along the mountain in order to avoid being subjected to landslides due to rainfall and the flow of the floods. it is noted hat  that the recent completion of the rehabilitation project through the Rayyan round about  - Al-uyun  covering length of about 15 km and costing one billion and 275 million and 929 thousand riyals. This  highway is considered to be one the main roads beside Al-uyun - Abdullah Ghareeb road that links the areas of  coastal  Hadhramout with the Wadi and Sahraa.
