http://www.english.hadhramaut.info General Chief of Staff meets with Assistant U.S. Secretary of Defense [The Source: SANA'Ahadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 04/08/2011] General Chief of Staff,  General Ahmed Ali Al-Ashwal met in Sana'a today with  Assistant U.S. Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Gen. Michael Vickers. The two sides discussed aspects of mutual relations, areas of military cooperation between the armies of the two friendly countries and ways of boosting them. This is to ensure  the common interests of the two countries the  peoples of Yemen and the U.S.  and in particular cooperation in the fight against terrorism, the cooperation in the areas of training, rehabilitation and the exchange of military expertise. The Meeting was attended by Chief of Staff of the Central Security Forces Brigadier General Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, Director of military intelligence, Brigadier Mujahid Gashem, U.S. ambassador in Sana'a Gerald Firestein and Director - Office of Cooperation and the U.S. military attache in Sanaa.
