[The Source: SEIYOUN/hadhramaut.info - 13/07/2011] Seiyoun city Tuesday afternoon bid farewell to one of its  Social figures the philanthropist Sheikh Salim bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Bakathir who passed away Tuesday midnight. The cioty witnessed a  majestic  funeral procession of the late  philanthropic, a personal and a social figure  was attended by a large gathering of citizens from seiyoun city and a number of directorates cheifs and heads of  Seiyoun zones. The funeral prayer was was said  on his bdy at Jaamee Seiyoun  on on that same day  and later laid to rest at  Jaouhar Cemetry in Central Seiyoun. The late Sheikh / Salim  passed a way at he age of 80 years  after  a bitter struggle with the disease. The late left behind  six children four boys Mohamed, Ahmed, Abdullah and Rashid asa well as two  and two daughters. The family received many telegrams of condolence and obituary on the death of their father. May Allah forgive him  and let his soul  dwell in His mercy and paradise with the martyrs  and   saints as well as inspire his family and his relatives with  patience and solace.
